Emanuela Scura is Head of Sustainable Investing at Lord Abbett. In her role, she is responsible for collaborating with the investment professionals to drive the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance factors in the investment process, amplify the engagement effort, and communicate to the markets served. Ms Scura co-chairs the Investment Stewardship Council and also serves on the firm’s Global Corporate Citizenship Committee. Ms. Scura joined Lord Abbett in 2007. Prior to her current role, she served as Chief Operating Officer – Investments, providing day-to-day leadership across the Investments organization to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. Prior to that she served as the Deputy Director of Global Credit Research. Her previous experience includes serving as High Yield Analyst at Pax World Funds, and Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young Financial Advisors LLP. She has worked in the financial services industry since 2003.She earned a BA in business administration and finance from Bocconi University and an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
